MANDATE:

1. Draft a report, on an annual basis, on jurisdictional, other stakeholders and CCMTA’s standing committees activities which contribute toward the goal of Canada having the safest roads in the world, based on four priorities and targets approved by the Council of Ministers in October 2000. The report also includes Canada’s position as compared to other OECD member countries;

2. Annual progress report for the Council of Deputy Ministers outlining how CCMTA jurisdictions are meeting the targets as prescribed in Road Safety Vision 2010; and

3. Assume a leadership role in the development of a successor plan to RSV 2010, subject to the guidance provided by the CCMTA Board RSV Oversight Committee.
