Event Description: Newfoundland and Labrador's second annual event to remember those killed and injured on our roads. Last year's event was attended by all three levels of government as well as families of those injured and killed. Main foyer City Hall.

Event Description: This evening is to promote the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims and the memory of my son Freddie who died at the hands of a drunk driver. Please bring a candle and dress for the weather as we will be outside at his Memorial Garden. There will be hot beverages available. We will share memories with friends and family and how this tragic event has impacted our lives. Feel free to bring photos or written stories to share.

Guest speakers include the Mayor of Burnaby and our Chapter President.

Red Ribbons will be handed out to remind everyone not to drive impaired and to remember those who have been injured or killed by an impaired driver.

Event Description: In observance of the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, the TVA network will air a special one-hour broadcast at 9:00 p.m. on November 18, 2009. This program, which focuses on road crash victims, will be shown on television as well as the TVA Web site. The program was produced for the general viewing public, and features various artists, specialists and, of course, road crash victims.

Event Description: The Canadian Motorcycle Association, in conjunction with Community Services of Norfolk County, Ontario, will be planting a National Motorcycle Remembrance tree in Port Dover, Ontario in remembrance of the motorcyclists killed each year across Canada. This tree will be visited by thousands of motorcyclists when they visit Port Dover for the famous "Friday the 13th" motorcycle ride to the town.
