How to Purchase a Companion Meal Package

You can purchase a Companion Meal Package as part of your delegate registration. Please refer to the Registration page for further details.

Cancellation Policy

• Full refunds of registration fees issued until April 11.
• Refunds of 50% issued until May 3; refunds will not be issued after May 3.
• An administrative fee of $50 applies to all cancellations.

The Byward Market

byward market The ByWard Market is Ottawa’s number one tourist attraction, and is the premier destination for shopping, dining, arts, entertainment and professional services for residents and visitors. This area averages 50,000 visitors per weekend in the summer months. It is home to both a local farmers’ market and artisans with many stands, as well as over 600 businesses. And while in the market area, be sure to stop by and try one of Ottawa’s traditions – BeaverTails they are truly one of a kind.

Parliament Hill

parliament Just a short walk down Wellington Street and you will find the centrepiece of Ottawa’s downtown landscape, Parliament Hill -- the political and cultural heart of the city. The Parliament Buildings sit atop the Hill, the gorgeous Gothic-style structures overlooking the Ottawa River, as the politicians within debate the present and future issues of the country. Free guided tours are available daily (book online), including a chance to head up to the Peace Tower for an incredible view of the city.

The Rideau Canal

canal A historic waterway filled with boaters spring through fall and the world’s largest naturally frozen ice skating rink in winter – the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, winds through downtown Ottawa before connecting with the Ottawa River through stepped locks right next to Parliament Hill. It’s a beautiful place for a stroll no matter the season. Be sure to take a walk along the paths that run the length of the canal.
